About the role ….

The Accountant will be working closely with the client to support the business and manage the following tasks:

• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns (individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships) in accordance with Australian accounting standards and regulations.
• Completing various tax returns, including income tax, GST, and BAS, FBT, ensuring compliance with Australian tax laws.
• Business Advice: Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, providing valuable insights to clients.
• Bookkeeping and Payroll: Bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews. Overseeing payroll, STP, and superannuation lodgements.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to enhance our service delivery

About you...

We are looking for an A-star individual, passionate and competent with what they do and bringing the WOW with the following qualifications:

• With at least 2-3 years of work experience in Australian Tax

• Knowledge of Australian financials preparation (BAS, IAS, FBT Returns)

• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal

• Attentive to details and organized

• Good time management skills
